Safe Pets
  • Short term, immediate, emergency shelter for the domesticated and exotic pets of Mountain Peace Shelter residents

  • Indoor, heated, and dedicated cat room and dog kennels

  • Individualized safety plans and intake forms for pets

  • Collaboration with local agencies for medical care

  • Foster Care available for livestock

Mobile Advocacy
  • Survivor-driven, healing-centered, and trauma-informed confidential advocacy

  • We will meet survivors, their dependent cihildren, and pets where they are, at a safe location of their choice.

  • Focused on survivor safety and supporting their ability to rebuild control over their lives.

  • PeaceWorks advocates will work to address the individual needs of each survivor, such as (but not limited to): accompaniment needs, mental health needs, and/or medical health needs.

  • No cost integrative healing opportunities for Mountain Peace Shelter residents, non-residential clients, volunteers, and community members

  • Weekly healing opportunities include: Block Therapy, Yoga, Nature Therapy, Healing Energy, and Empowerment Group

Community Awareness & Education
  • Prevention Education programs and Educational Awareness programs are available for schools, businesses, programs and departments

  • Presentations are tailored to meet the specific needs of your group
